A legacy, founded in 1990.

For the past 3 decades, The Trinity Irish Dance Company has been evolving a traditional art form, engaging communities, and inspiring and empowering audiences and dancers around the world.

What began as a vision to break out of the box and a dream to evolve the art form has grown into a visionary movement that has significantly changed the direction and scope of Irish dance.

And this year, celebrating an important birthday.

At the helm of this incredible journey is creative force and renowned choreographer Mark Howard. Born in Yorkshire, England, and raised in Chicago; Howard spent the first half of his career breaking boundaries on the competitive stage, leading the Trinity Academy of Irish Dance to unprecedented World Championship team titles for the United States. Inspired to elevate the art form on a global scale, Howard made the jump to the performing arts industry in 1990, presenting Irish dance in groundbreaking new ways.

Celebrating his 60th birthday on April 3rd, Howard continues to carve new traditions and create integrity-filled dance experiences for audiences around the world. We’d love to celebrate his birthday in that same meaningful way.

Be a part of the living legacy.
