Help send TIDC to Ireland and support our groundbreaking collaboration with renowned choreographer Marguerite Donlon!

The Trinity Irish Dance Company members are thrilled about the creative opportunity that awaits us, and we need YOUR help to make it a reality! World-renowned contemporary choreographer Marguerite Donlon has very recently agreed to set a piece on us THIS August in her hometown of Longford, Ireland. TIDC needs to raise $30,000 in the next few weeks to ensure that we can bring this groundbreaking work to life.

TIDC presents dance experiences of the highest artistic caliber and integrity. Through the years, our non-profit Irish-American company has collaborated with many noted contemporary choreographers, leading to progressive pieces that connect with audiences on a profound level. Creating new work that elevates the art form while remaining rooted in tradition continues to be a fundamental pillar of TIDC's mission.

If the necessary funds are raised, TIDC will dance and create on Irish soil for the first time since their inception in 1990. This is particularly significant because TIDC is the birthplace of "progressive Irish dance," which opened the artistic pathways for commercial shows such as Riverdance.

In just eight weeks, Founding Artistic Director Mark Howard and five TIDC members must find their way to Longford, Ireland to create a piece with critically acclaimed contemporary choreographer Marguerite Donlon. Donlon's celebrated work has been set upon distinguished companies such as the Stuttgart Ballet, Hubbard Street Dance Chicago, and the Bolshoi. You can learn more about her storied career, here.
