From an idea to the stage.

TIDC is at the helm of a movement to save Irish dance from the spectacle of its overly commercialized renditions. Our diverse and integrity-filled repertoire is forward-looking, rooted in a reverence for Irish traditions, and ever evolving. After a significant 2022 season, TIDC is headed into the creation of their newest work, Palpitations. Expanding upon an innovative body of work that has changed the face of Irish dance and following the success of their first co-choreographed work An Sorcas (The Circus), Palpitations will be choreographed by Founding Artistic Director Mark Howard and Associate Artistic Director Chelsea Hoy.
